What delivery options do you offer?

We can deliver right to your door or you can purchase our solar LED light bulbs at one of our distributor’s locations. Below are your options;


  • Free 1-2 day Cash on Delivery right to your door within Gaborone.
  • 3-5 day nationwide delivery using selected couriers at an extra charge of P80.
  • Free nationwide delivery on orders over P500.

Cash on Delivery is available for Gaborone. For orders out of Gaborone, payment must be made prior to sending your order out for delivery. You can make payment after you have placed your order and use your name and number as the reference – eg; David #76797297

How many hours does the battery last per charge?

The battery lasts up to 7 hours with each full charge.

How do I charge the bulb?

It’s easy! All you need to do is place the solar panel in full sunlight and connect the attached Android micro USB cable to the solar LED light bulb. This method takes roughly 8-10 hours.

Alternatively, you can charge it with any Micro USB compatible wall, car, or power bank charger. This method takes roughly 1-2 hours.

*Please note: the battery is in the bulb and NOT in the solar panel.
*Please note the red charging light does not change colour when fully charged.

Can I charge other devices with the solar panel?

Unfortunately the 1W panel is not strong enough to charge a smartphone or power bank. You may be able to charge smaller Android micro USB compatible electronics.

What can I use the Solar LED Light Bulb for?

Our product is ideal for indoor lighting or outdoor lighting, such as camping tent, fishing, hiking, cooking, working, reading, emergency, blackouts, farming, chicken coops, shed kit and other indoor-outdoor activities, etc.

It’s a useful and affordable gift for a family or friends to have safe and happy outdoor activities.

Is it waterproof?

The solar LED light bulb can be used in any weather, but it is not waterproof. The solar panel can be placed in any weather condition – it is waterproof.

Am I covered by a warranty?

DELTAEON Botswana (Pty) Ltd. offers a 12-month warranty for the components failed due to defects in materials or workmanship. The warranty starts from the date of delivery. For more info please visit


How much does delivery cost?
  • We offer free delivery within Gaborone with any purchase.
  • For orders P500 and above we deliver around Botswana completely free!
  • For orders under P500, courier would cost an additional P80 around Botswana. 
What if I need to modify my order?

If you need to change anything on your order, contact us immediately with your order number and the details of the modification to your order. Unfortunately, if your order has already been posted then you would have to go through the refund process.

Can I get same-day delivery?

Yes! If you order before 10am, then it is possible to deliver the same day in Gaborone. Otherwise, we will deliver in the morning the next day.

How does free Cash on Delivery work?

We will personally deliver your order to any address within Gaborone, you can pay cash on the spot once you have checked your order and are satisfied with it.

How do I track my order?

Once you have placed your order online, you will receive an e-mail or message with your tracking number.


What payment methods do you offer?

We accept payment via cash, Mascom MyZaka, Orange Money, FNB eWallet, and EFT.

Can I pay when my order is delivered?

Yes, you can pay cash on delivery in Gaborone! However, no cash no product – if using any of our other payment methods, the payment needs to reflect before the order is handed over or posted.

How long does it take for my payment to reflect before my order is shipped out?

Payment with Mascom MyZaka, Orange Money, or FNB eWallet will usually reflect immediately, EFT may take 1-4 days depending on your bank.

Do you offer a Lay-By option?

Yes! We do offer a lay-by option that expires within 30 days. You pay 25% upfront and then receive your product when you pay the 75% balance.


Do you offer returns?

Yes! If there are any hiccups and you are no longer happy with your purchase, you may return it and get a full refund within 14 days of delivery – no questions asked! Please view our refund policy here. Note that your return must be in its original packaging.

What happens if my product is faulty?

Your purchase is backed by a 12-month quality warranty. In the unlikely event that any of our solar LED light bulbs or solar panels are faulty, you may choose to either return it for a refund or have it replaced with a brand new one.

Where do I send my returned order?

We collect returns within Gaborone, alternatively, nationwide returns can be returned via drop off or courier to Plot 20578, Moshaneng Close, Block 3 Industrial, Gaborone, Botswana.

How long does it take to receive my refund after I return my order?

Refunds are sent within 24-48hrs after an order has been returned. Please note this may take longer to reflect in your account.

Can you service the DSL1?

We have the ability to service the light bulb in the event you should encounter a problem. Although the LEDs are rated to last up to 50,000 hours (up to 19 years if you use it for 7 hours each day), we expect our product to go through heavy use over the years – should our customers require any replacement parts, we will provide this.
